Mitsubishi to invite Chinese and Korean mills to participate in Jack Hills project

Japanese global integrated business enterprise Mitsubishi Corporation has said that it plans to invite Chinese and South Korean steel producers to participate in its Jack Hills iron ore mining project in Western Australia, as reported by the Japan-based Nikkei news agency.

Mitsubishi also said that the mining project will cost JPY 1 trillion (US$13 billion) and that it will be commissioned in 2016 at the earliest.
