Mexico’s iron pellet output declines in July

Mexican iron pellet output in July declined 4.3 percent, year-on-year, to 604,693 mt, according to data released on Wednesday by the nation’s statistics agency, Inegi.

In the cumulative period of January to July, iron pellet production declined 0.7 percent, year-on-year, while the country’s mining and metals output index rose 2 percent in July in a month-on-month basis.

Following the same uptrend, the indicator improved 2.6 percent in July, year-on-year.
