Mexico’s economic activity has increased 2.2 percent in March, year-on-year, according to data from the nation’s Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI). Compared to February, activity was mostly stable, registering a 0.6 percent fall.
Primary activities of the economy were stable in March in the comparison with the same period of the year prior, but declined 4.4 percent month-on-month. Secondary activities were stable in March compared to February, but increased 1.4 percent, year-on-year. Tertiary activities declined 0.2 percent, month-on-month, but rose 2.7 percent, year-on-year.
