Mexico to investigate HRC imports from Russia and Ukraine

At the request of the steel producers Altos Hornos de México (AHMSA) and Ternium México,  the Mexican ministry of economy began an investigation this week of hot rolled steel imports from Russia and Ukraine.

According to the publication in the Official Journal Wednesday, the investigation will cover the time period of January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2014, with the time period of January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2014 for comparative analysis.

The product to be examined is hot rolled steel sheet unalloyed and alloyed with boron content equal to or greater than 0.0008 percent, of width equal to or greater than 600 mm, and 4.75 mm thickness inside, regardless of length.
