Metinvest’s KhPW sees 72.7 percent growth in LD pipe output in July over June

According to the data issued by the Ukrainian iron ore and steel producer Metinvest Holding (Metinvest), in July this year its subsidiary Khartsyzsk Pipe Works (KhPW) saw its large diameter (LD) pipe output increase to 14,834 mt from 8,587 mt in June, registering a 72.7 percent growth month on month.
 
In the first half of this year, KhPW produced 118,804 mt of LD pipes - down 66.13 percent compared to the same period last year when the plant produced 350,798 mt of LD pipes.
