Metinvest’s KhPW more than triples LD pipe output in April over March

According to the data issued by the Ukrainian iron ore and steel producer Metinvest Holding (Metinvest), in April this year its subsidiary Khartsyzsk Pipe Works (KhPW) increased its large diameter (LD) pipe output to 40,238 mt from 11,894 mt in March, registering a 238.7 percent growth month on month.
In January-April this year, KhPW produced 71,407 mt of LD pipes - down 64.8 percent compared to the same period last year when the plant produced 202,627 mt of LD pipes.
