The iron ore subsidiaries of the Ukrainian mining and steel producing company Metinvest Holding (Metinvest) have issued their production results for the first eleven months of 2009.
Accordingly, in the January-November period Metinvest's iron ore subsidiary Central GOK (CGOK) increased its pellet output by 9.4 percent to 2.02 million mt, but decreased its concentrate production by 18.6 percent to about 4.49 million mt, both compared to the same period last year.
During the first eleven months of 2009, Severniy GOK (SevGOK) produced 12.49 million mt of concentrate - up 5.7 percent year on year, and 8.49 million mt of pellets - down 6.9 percent.
Meanwhile, during the period in question Metinvest's Inguletskiy GOK (InGOK) registered a 13.8 percent decrease year on year in its concentrate output, to 10.6 million mt.
