Metinvest’s iron ore sales up 12 percent in April from March

The Ukrainian mining and steel producing group Metinvest has announced in its monthly report that in April this year its sales revenues totaled $603 million, decreasing by nine percent month on month. 

In the given month, Metinvest’s iron ore sales volume increased by 12 percent month on month to 1.41 million mt, with a value of $103 million. In the same month, the company’s total semi-finished and finished product sales amounted to 780,000 mt, falling by 11.5 percent from March, while the value of these sales totaled $418 million.
