Metinvest makes further payment to Canada-based Black Iron

Metinvest B.V., the holding company of the Ukrainian largest mining and metallurgical group Metinvest, has stated that it has transferred one more tranche of $5 million to Canada-based Black Iron Inc. within the scope of the closure of the transaction for the purchase of 49 percent of Black Iron (Cyprus) Ltd. (BKI Cyprus), which owns iron ore assets in the Dnepropetrovsk region of the Ukraine. Thus, Metinvest has paid off $15 million of the total sum of $20 million for the transaction. Metinvest B.V. will pay the remaining $5 million by July 15 this year.
