Metallurgical production in Ukraine down 12.5 percent in August

According to the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, in August this year Ukrainian industrial production declined 4.7 percent as compared to August 2011, but was up 1.8 percent compared to July of the current year. In particular, in the given month Ukrainian metallurgical production went down by 12.5 percent year on year, but was up 1.4 percent month on month.
 
Meanwhile,, industrial production in Ukraine was down 0.4 percent in January-August this year compared to the same period of last year.
