Metalloinvest signs supply agreement with TMK

Russia-based leading global iron ore and hot briquetted iron (HBI) producer Metalloinvest has announced that it has signed agreements with Russia-based global steel pipe producer TMK for the supply of HBI and steel strips.

Under the agreement, in 2020 Metalloinvest will supply TMK with around 240,000 mt of HBI produced by its Lebedinsky GOK site. Pricing will be calculated based on scrap metal prices on the global and Russian markets, according to the company statement.

Furthermore, Metalloinvest will also supply about 75,000 mt of steel strips produced by Ural Steel to TMK
