Megasteel plans a revamping project for this year

According to market sources, Malaysian hot rolled strip producer Megasteel Sdn Bhd reportedly decided to convert its furnaces through a project conducted by the Italian steel equipment maker Danieli this year. It is expected that upon revamping of these almost four years old furnaces, Megasteel's liquid steel production capacity will rise to 194mt/hour from 109mt/hour, which is equivalent to an increase of around %78.
