Mechel considering coking coal supply to China-based Jidong Cement

Mechel, one of the leading Russian mining and steel groups, has announced that it is considering supplying coking coal to China-based Jidong Cement, one of the world's top ten cement producers.
 
Mechel signed a memorandum of understanding with the Chinese company to supply one million mt of thermal coal from its Neryungrinsky and Elga open pits between April 2015 and March 2016.
