Mechel, one of the leading Russian mining and steel groups, has decided to establish an official representative office in the Chinese capital Beijing.

As SteelOrbis previously reported, Mechel has representative offices in Japan, South Korea, Romania and Bulgaria, which enable the company to carefully monitor fluctuations in regional markets, to be prepared for demand changes in such markets and to promptly send supplies of necessary products to customers.
