It will supply top-quality continuously-cast billets for the plant's rolling mill.

The concaster No. 5 is part of a complex which produces rail steel and rail billets. The investment for the complex, including the blooming concaster No. 5, the ladle furnace No. 4 and the vacuum degasser is estimated at $189 million dollars.
