Anhui Province-based Chinese steelmaker Maanshan Iron & Steel (Masteel) has announced that it will carry out maintenance on its medium
plate production line from February 14 until February 25.
The overhaul is expected to result in a shortfall of around 20,000 mt in the steelmaker's medium
plate output.
