Masteel books record monthly volume of orders for March

Anhui Province-based Chinese steelmaker Maanshan Iron and Steel Group (Masteel) has announced that its steel product orders for March this year total 1.10 million mt with 125,000 mt of export orders, both constituting all-time records for a given month. Masteel's export orders booked for February had totaled 100,000 mt.
 
For March, Masteel's hot rolled coil (HRC) export orders reached 46,000 mt, while its H-section export orders totaled 22,000 mt. In addition, its export orders for pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI) sheets in March amounted to 12,500 mt of total PPGI sheet orders of 17,000 mt.
