Italy-based Mamé Group S.p.A., based in Cividate Camuno, Brescia and focused on steel forging and manufacturing, has announced its 2010 financial result.

In 2010, Mamé Group's sales revenue decreased by 41 percent year on year to €53.85 million, while its net profit fell by 89.93 percent year on year to €800,000. This was made possible only by enhancing operational flexibility, while the company avoided resorting to safety valves such as redundancy measures.

Last year, Mamé Group invested €13.2 million in the acquisition of machines and equipment. As its 2011 sales revenue is forecast to exceed €100 million, the company will spend about €7 million on the development of its heat treatment shop.
