Liuzhou Steel adjusts ex-factory prices

On August 8, 2007, Guangxi province based Guangxi LiuZhou Iron & Steel Group Co., Ltd. (Liuzhou Steel) adjusted ex-factory price. The details are as follows:

1. High Speed Wire Rod

The ex-factory price increased RMB 60/mt ($8/mt). After adjustment, the new price of 6.5 mm diameter Q235 High Speed Wire Rod is RMB 3,980/mt ($526/mt).

2. Rebar

The ex-factory price increased RMB 30/mt ($4/mt). After adjustment, the new price of 16-25mm diameter HRB335 rebar is RMB 3,960/mt ($524/mt).

3. HRC

After RMB 20/mt ($3/mt) increase in hot rolled coils' ex-factory prices, the new price of 5.5mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 4,020/mt ($532/mt).

4. Medium Plate

The ex-factory price increased RMB 20/mt ($3/mt). After adjustment, the new price of 14-20mm thick Q235 Medium Plate is RMB 4,620/mt ($611/mt).

All above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of August 8, 2007.
