Liheng Steel rebuilds high speed wire rod production line

Shanxi Province-based Chinese steel producer Liheng Iron and Steel Co. (Liheng Steel) has announced that it has started to rebuild its high speed wire rod production line which will have an annual production capacity of 1.3 million mt. Meanwhile, its newly-built HRB 400 rebar production line was commissioned lately.

The reconstruction project for the high speed wire rod production line is expected to be completed in September this year. At present, Liheng Steel has an annual output capacity of 4 million mt of pig iron, 5 million mt of crude steel and 5.5 million mt of rolled steel products.
