LianYuan Steel issues new flats prices

Hunan Province-based LianYuan Steel released new ex-factory prices for its flat products. The details are as follows:

HR:

The ex-factory price remained unchanged compared with the previous levels. The new price of 2.75 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 4,500/mt ($585), while that of 5.5 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 4,300/mt ($559).

CR:

The ex-factory price decreased RMB 150/mt ($20). After adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC CRC is RMB 4,930/mt ($641).

HDG:

The ex-factory price decreased RMB 160/mt ($21). After adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm thick ST012 HDG is RMB 5,400/mt ($703).

Full Hard:

The ex-factory price decreased RMB 50/mt ($7). After adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC Full Hard is RMB 4,630/mt ($602).

The above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of May 1, 2007.
