Li Daokui, director of Tsinghua University's Center for China in the World Economy, has stated at the 2015 China Capital Growth Forum held in Beijing that China’s economy will likely rebound as of June 2016.

Mr. Li stated that China’s real estate sector will likely shift from a declining growth rate to an upward growth rate towards the end of 2016 against the backdrop of decreasing housing inventories in China.

In addition, Mr. Li said he expects that 2-3 million new babies will be born in the second half of 2016 due to the end of China’s one-child policy, which will likely drive China’s gross domestic product (GDP) to increase by about 0.2 percent in 2016.
