Hunan Province-based Chinese company Hunan Lengshuijiang Iron and Steel Co. has announced that it has successfully introduced its new HRB 500 and HRB 500E rebar products into the market, receiving a good response from buyers in the market.

Chinese steel producers have now mastered the technology for the production of high strength reinforced bars, allowing them to replace HRB 335 and HPB 235 grades. Accordingly, China is on track to eliminate production of HRB 335 and HPB 235 rebars.
