Launch schedule issued for Angang’s CR sheet project in Putian

Production operations at the acid pickling-rolling mill integral unit, continuous annealing unit and hot galvanizing unit of Chinese steelmaker Angang's cold rolled sheet project in Putian, Fujian Province will be launched respectively in March 2011, July 2011 and May 2012, according to Zhang Hailing, who is in charge of the project.

Construction work began on the cold rolled sheet project in Putian on February 6 this year. The project in question will cost a total investment of RMB 3.8 billion ($557 million), and will mainly produce cold rolled sheet and galvanized sheet for home appliance and automotive applications.
