Lanxin Steel commissions high speed wire rod project

Gansu Province-based Chinese steel producer Lanxin Iron and Steel Company (Lanxin Steel) has announced the commissioning of its new high speed wire rod production line which has an annual output capacity of 1.2 million mt.
 
The production line is located in the county of Gaolan in Gansu. In the past few years, Lanxin Steel has also built a 35 mt closed electric arc furnace and two hot rolled reinforced bar lines with a total annual production capacity of 300,000 mt.
 
In 2011, Lanxin Steel achieved a total production value of RMB 830 million ($131.54 million). Its products are mainly sold in Shaanxi, Gansu and Qingzang.
