Lakeside Steel grants another extension to unnamed buyer

Welland, Ontario-based Lakeside Steel, a pipe and tube manufacturer for the oil and gas industry, announced Monday that the extended period in which the company agreed to negotiate exclusively with the potential purchaser regarding an acquisition or similar transaction has been extended until 9:00 am Tuesday, January 24, 2012 in order to allow the parties to conclude their negotiations and finalize transaction agreements.

This is the second extension Lakeside has grated the "purchaser." On Friday, Lakeside extended the exclusive negation period until 9:00 am, Monday, January 23, 2012.
