In July, Shandong Province-based Laiyang Iron and Steel Group (Laiyang Steel) successfully completed the certification process carried out by nine shipping bureaus for its CCS shipbuilding plate - a process which was initiated in December 2009.
Since receiving certification from the shipping bureaus, Laiyang Steel has received orders for a total of 6,000 mt of CCS shipbuilding plate.
