Laiwu Steel raises ex-mill prices for rebar

On January 7, Laiwu Steel increased its ex-mill prices for rebar. The details are as follows:

The price of HRB 335 16-25 mm rebar has been raised by RMB 30/mt ($4.3/mt). As a result, HRB 335 16-25 mm rebar is now priced at RMB 3,650/mt ($534.40/mt), including VAT.

The above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective from January 7, 2009.
$1 = RMB 6.83
