Kremikovtzi enters into tolling agreement with ArcelorMittal

The Bulgarian largest steelmaker Kremikovtzi has announced that it has entered into a tolling agreement with the global steel giant ArcelorMittal.

According to the agreement, Kremikovtzi will produce steel products from raw materials supplied by ArcelorMittal and will also be in charge of marketing of these products.

The agreement has also a provision for expenditures into environment and also into modernization of production equipment.

Under the agreement obligations, Kremikovtzi is to start producing 60,000 mt of finished steel per month. This volume may be increased in the future.
