Konecranes Plc’s direct holding of its own shares exceeds five percent

Finland-based lifting equipment manufacturer Konecranes Plc has announced that its direct holding of Konecranes Plc has exceeded five percent as a result of the repurchase of the company's own shares.

Konecranes Plc was directly in the possession of 3,196,813 of its own shares on August 22, 2011 and 517,696 of its own shares indirectly through KCR Management Oy on August 22, respectively corresponding to 5.05 percent and 0.82 percent of Konecranes Plc's shares and votes

Konecranes Plc has a total of 63,241,427 shares. The company has only one class of shares, with each share entitled to one vote.
