KOKS Group sees increase in coal output in H1

Russian pig iron and coking coal producer KOKS Group has announced its operational results for the first half this year. Accordingly, KOKS Group produced 1.094 million mt of pig iron in the given period, rising seven percent compared to the same period of the previous year. In the first six months, the company's coal output increased by 15 percent year on year to 903,000 mt, while its iron ore output amounted to 2.348 million mt, down one percent compared to the first half of 2013. In the first half of the current year, KOKS Group's coke output decreased by one percent year on year to 1.224 million mt.
