Khuzestan Steel to boost annual output

Iranian steelmaker Khuzestan Steel Complex's annual steel production is expected to reach 2.3 million tons by the end of the Fourth Development Plan (2005-10), the company sources reported. Mr. Verdinejad, Managing Director of the company, said "Iran's total steel production capacity will hit 5.7 million tons by 2010, putting the country's per capita steel consumption at 180 kilos.
