Khorasan Steel ups billet output by 11 percent

Iranian steelmaker Khorasan Steel produced 526,000 mt of semi-finished steel (billet) and 575,000 mt of finished products (rebar) in the last Iranian year (ended March 20), up 11 percent and down three percent respectively compared with 475,000 mt of billet and 593,000 mt of rebar in the previous year, according to the newly published statistics from the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
