Kazakhstan posts steel output increase for H1

According to the data released by the Republic of Kazakhstan's Agency of Statistics, in the first half of 2007 the country registered a 10.9 percent increase in its crude steel production, a 13.6 percent increase in its production of flat rolled, and a 4.3 percent rise in its ferroalloys production year on year.

The respective figures in metric tons were 2.34 million, 1.705 million and 844,808.
