Kawasho&Metal One to form a joint venture

According to recent market reports, Japanese trading companies Kawasho Corp and Metal One Corp are going to form a joint venture to supply steel sheet for Mitsubishi Motors Corp. Kawasho is expected to invest Yen 300 million ($2.82 million) for this project while Metal One is anticipated to invest Yen 200 million ($1.88 million). Kawasho Corporation was established in 1954 as a trading company for JFE Steel Corporation and Metal One was established in January 2003 by Japan's largest trading house Mitsubishi Corp and another Japanese firm Nissho Iwai.
