JSW posts increase in crude steel output for January

One of the largest Indian steelmakers JSW Steel Ltd has posted a 39 percent year-on-year growth in crude steel production in January of the current Indian financial year. JSW produced 805,000 mt of crude steel in the given period.
 
During January, JSW Steel produced 595,000 mt of flat rolled products, up 29 percent, while it produced 151,000 mt of long rolled products, up 65 percent, both compared to the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
