Jobs in German metal manufacture decline in September

At the end of September this year, the number of employees in metal production and processing in Germany declined 1.1 percent as compared to the same time last year to around 242,000,  according to Germany's Federal Statistical Office (Destatis). Meanwhile, as of the end of September employment in the manufacture of metal products in Germany indicated a slight increase of 0.6 percent year on year to 505,000.
