Jizhong Energy Fengfeng and Baosteel cooperate to develop Cixi coal mine

Jizhong Energy Fengfeng Group, an energy company based in the northeastern Chinese province of Hebei, has signed a framework agreement with Chinese steel giant Baosteel to develop Cixi coal mine in Hebei.

The Cixi mine district is located in western Handan city, Hebei, covering a total area of 100.89 square kilometers and with 1.53 billion mt of coal reserves. The development of Cixi coal mine will be carried out at the same time as the development of Jiulong coal mine, another project on which Jizhong Energy Fengfeng Group and Baosteel are cooperating. When Cixi mine starts production, it is expected to lay a good foundation for Fengfeng Group's future development and also to boost the development of Handan city.
