Jindal Stainless ups Q4 profit 239%

Indian steel producer Jindal Stainless Ltd.'s net profits soared 239.01% year on year to reach Rupees 928.9 million (around $21 million) for the fourth quarter ended March 2005. Higher margins contributed to company's robust profit increase. For the fiscal year ended March 31, 2005, the company reported a net profit of Rupees 2.5 billion against Rupees 1.64 billion a year ago.
