Jinan Steel announces ex-factory price decreases

On October 20, Shandong Province-based Jinan steel announced downward adjustments to its ex-factory prices. The details are as follows:

Rebar
The price of rebar has declined by RMB 900/mt ($132/mt). After the adjustment, HRB 335 16-25 mm now stands at RMB 3,750/mt ($549/mt), while the HRB 400 price is RMB 180/mt ($26/mt) higher than the HRB 355 price.

Medium plate and heavy plate
The producer's price has been cut by RMB 700/mt ($102/mt). As a result, 20 mm material costs RMB 4,840/mt ($709/mt) while 20 mm heavy plate costs RMB 5,390/mt ($789/mt)..

HRC
The prices of HRC have been reduced by RMB 400/mt ($59/mt). Thus, Q235A 4.5 mm HR costs RMB 4,200/mt ($615/mt).
