In June, Japan's seasonally adjusted industrial production declined by 1.5 percent as compared to the previous month, showing a decrease for the second month in a row. Meanwhile, on year-on-year basis, the country's industrial production in June witnessed an increase of 17 percent.
In June, seasonally adjusted iron and steel production in Japan declined by 2.5 percent, while producers' iron and steel shipments dropped by 7.09 percent and iron and steel inventories were down 0.1 percent, all compared to the previous month.
