Japanese auto output rises 4.7 percent in March

According to the data provided by the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA), in March this year Japanese automobile production (including passenger cars, trucks and buses) totaled 931,137 units, rising by 4.7 percent compared to the same month of last year.
 
Domestic automobile sales in March in Japan stood at 691,374 vehicles, up 8.7 percent as compared with the same month of 2016. In the meantime, the country's automobile exports in March amounted to 419,546 units, up by 3.8 percent year on year.
