Japanese auto output rises 1.4 percent in July

According to the data provided by the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA), in July this year Japanese automobile production (including passenger cars, trucks and buses) totaled 818,253 units, rising by 1.4 percent compared to the same month of last year.

Domestic automobile sales in July in Japan stood at 427,547 vehicles, up 2.9 percent as compared with the same month of 2016. In the meantime, the country's automobile exports in June amounted to 410,676 units, down by 0.7 percent year on year.
