Italy's crude steel output down 13.9 percent in November

In November this year, Italian crude steel output decreased by 13.9 percent year on year to 1.875 million metric tons, while in the first 11 months of the year the output figure amounted to 22.255 million mt, down 0.2 percent year on year, according to the figures released by the Italian steel producers association Federacciai.

Year-to-date variations had been positive since the beginning of 2014, while Italian crude steel output in 2013 had decreased by 11.6 percent year on year to 24.079 million mt.

Italian crude steel output in November of the current year was also lower compared to the crude steel outputs of 2.286 million mt in November 2010, 2.568 million mt in November 2011 and 2.248 million mt in November 2012.
