Italy's crude steel output down 11.3 percent in January

In January this year, Italian crude steel output decreased by 11.3 percent year on year to 1.880 million metric tons, according to the figures released by the Italian steel producers association Federacciai.
 
Italian crude steel output in January of the current year was also lower compared to the crude steel outputs of 2.099 million mt in January 2011 and 2.240 million mt in January 2012, but was higher compared to the 1.756 million mt recorded in January 2013.
