Ispat Inland to cut salaried work force

According to recent news in the market, Ispat Inland, a subsidiary of Ispat International NV is planning to reduce the number of salaried workers to consolidate its competitiveness in the market. It is stated that 130 salaried workers are planned to be dismissed at the end of this month. However, these workers will benefit from severance pay. The reduction of the number of salaried workers is a part of Ispat Inland's aim to reduce costs, increase productivity and improve products and customer performance. In 2003, Ispat Inland made investment to achieve aforementioned goals.
