Irkutsk Heavy Machinery Plant to produce BF equipment for MMK

Russia's Irkutsk Heavy Machinery Plant (IZTM) has received a contract from Russian steel producer Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) to produce valves for blast furnace (BF) production as well as vehicles for transporting loads of up to 125 mt and 300 mt between workshops.

According to the contract, the ordered products have to be produced within a period of 180 days. The total value of the contract is more than Ruble 20 million ($0.7 million).
