Iran’s HRC imports rise by 75 percent in last Iranian year

Iran imported 2,066,000 mt of hot rolled coil and 615,000 mt of hot rolled plate and sheet in the last Iranian year (ended March 20, 2010), representing respective year-on-year increases of 75 percent and 45 percent, according to the newly published figures from the Iranian customs authorities. In the previous year, Iran had imported 1,179,000 mt of hot rolled coil and 423,000 mt of hot rolled plate and sheet.
