Iran Alloy Steel’s semis output rises by 22 percent

Iranian steelmaker Iran Alloy Steel produced 44,500 mt of semi-finished steel (billet and bloom) and 46,000 mt of finished steel products (round bar etc.) in the first two months of the current Iranian year (March 21-May 20), up 22 percent and  64 percent compared to the respective volumes of 36,000 mt and 28,000 mt in the same period of the last Iranian year, according to newly published figures from the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
