Iran Alloy Steel more than doubles its finished steel output

Iranian steelmaker Iran Alloy Steel produced 22,500 mt of semi-finished steel (billet and bloom) and 26,200 mt of finished steel products (round bar) in the first month (March 21-April 20) of the current Iranian year, up 62 percent and over 100 percent on the respective volumes of 13,900 mt and 11,000 mt in the same month of the last Iranian year, according to new figures from the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
